Harry Potter food made real?

Harry Potter's favourite dessert, treacle tart, is a real dessert eaten in Britain. And there's a blog devoted to the foods mentioned in the Harry Potter series and also there is an unofficial cookbook. I may not be the greatest admirer of the young wizard & of his adventures. Then, how do I know that?

I came across a great article on Smithsonian magazine on Making Fictional Foods Real by Lisa Bremen. For those who like food & movies/TV shows alike this article is highly recommended. Find out how the food from Harold and Maude, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory & Seinfeld made real. Well, almost real...

Muffin tops anyone?
