Top flavors & trends for 2011 by food experts

It’s an exciting time for flavor.

For more than a decade, McCormick, American food company specializing in spices, has identified emerging flavors through its annual Flavor Forecast report, prepared by researchers, trend experts, chefs, test kitchens, food technologists, and sensory analysts.

According to the McCormick Flavor Forecast 2011, spice consumption in US is at an all-time high. Report states that, "Today’s pantry can consist of about 40 different seasonings, compared to less than 10 in the 1950s".
